Willow Whip Staking

Help us stake willow whips along the shoreline of Derby Reach to prevent further erosion. The whips turn into plants that help stabilize the river bank and provide valuable wildlife habitat.

Note: This event is rain or shine, so please wear warm layers and boots, as this area can be muddy. No experience necessary and all tools and gloves will be provided. Please bring a water bottle and any snacks that you would like for the duration of the event.

This is a great opportunity to get out in your community and make a real difference for our local environment!
