About the event

We will be removing blackberries and other invasive species at a wildlife corridor we planted near the dog off leash area. These plants can out compete the native species that we planted, so it is important to prune them back to allow more light and nutrients for our planted site.

We will meet near the Edgewater Bar parking lot in Derby Reach, and walk over to the site together. We will be working in long grass which can sometimes be muddy, so please bring boots and wear long pants. This event is rain or shine so please wear layers and dress for the weather. No prior experience is necessary and we will provide tools and gloves, so come on out and enjoy spending time in nature and helping your local ecosystem!

We'll send a reminder email to all registered attendees 2 days before the event. We hope to see you…
