DRBIPA hosts educational and recreational events free for the community to attend, such as guided nature walks with local ecologists, biologists, and field naturalists - along with special events for DRBIPA Members.
We love putting on our big annual events, too! The Bedford Channel Paddle in July and Heritage Apple Day on the first Saturday of October.
We also lead regular environmental conservation and restoration events within the parks for our dedicated team of volunteer Park Ambassadors and community members wanting to get more involved with protecting our natural environment. We plan invasive species removal, native vegetation planting, nest box monitoring, bog restoration events, and more.
Be sure to signup for our DRBIPA e-newsletter below to stay up-to-date on all our events and projects and get all the details on how to take part!
